From time to time I enjoy customizing zippos. They all start as a standard brass armored Zippos. I silver solder a variety of vintage military insignia onto the lighter as well as a sterling silver Crowned A.

To finalized it all I give each lighter a nice scratch pattern and a forced patina. Each lighter is slightly different from the other from the way I make these. These are a great pieces of useful pocket jewelry.
