The Astra Standard Issue is the knife that fits equally well in a Colonial Marine’s medic bag aboard the USS Sulaco or on an architect’s desk for sharpening pencils and cutting out scale models.
You can now order individual blades in four different shapes: Drop Point, Sheepsfoot, Spear Point, and Dagger Grind.
The revised blades are made from RWL34 steel with hollow-ground bevels and finished with a fine Zirblast finish.
Zirblast is a fine ceramic blasting process that creates a smooth, uniform matte surface. Unlike conventional glass bead blasting, Zirblast compacts and closes the surface, helping to reduce the risk of corrosion while maintaining a clean, refined appearance.
The ASTRA is a small, utilitarian fixed blade built around a modular design that allows you to interchange blades and handles depending on your needs and preferences.
It is carried safely in a compact Kydex sheath, small enough to drop into the bottom of a jacket pocket, carry on your belt, or even mount to the hull of your kayak. In short, it is the perfect little blade for whatever you need it for.
The handles feature weight-reducing, grip-enhancing milled slots. The blade attaches to the handle using two 6-40 titanium screws (not included).
Note: The Dagger Grind blade is sharpened on one edge only.
Note for US customers: Customs clearance may apply. Typical import/processing fee ~$35, payable on delivery — not included in shipping cost
Note for European customers (EU): Prices are shown exclusive of VAT, which will be added during checkout.
