I am happy to present the newest member of my folding knife family. I call this design the ISOLA and it is a smaller locking folder with a blade under 3”.
It is somewhat related to the NEO and ORSO design language where you will be able to spot some DNA but at the same time see some new ideas and features explored...
I am taking a limited amount of orders of 25 pieces for this new design this time around . You pay a $500 deposit/downpayment and I will be contacting you shortly with options available.
The base price is $1450 which includes blade in RWL-34, hand rubbed or stonewashed. Handle, clip and spacer in titanium. Pivot, pivotring and screws in titanium. All titanium offers anodizing options. I offer several different blade steels, inlay materials and frame upgrades. All these options will be discussed via email after the preorder is closed. If you have ordered a knife from me in the past you are already familiar with some of the offerings. If you look at these pictures you can see some of the options.
Expected delivery time is 2-3 months from settling the details of the order. Every now and again I get unpleasantly surprised on the amount of time a new model taks me to build. A close excample is the MOJO 2 where I have exceeded planned delivery of orders by more than I am comfortable with. So keep in mind the expected delivery time is approx and every now and again life throws a curveball at you.
This is the perfect knife if you are looking for a somewhat smaller every day carry piece. The construction is a frame lock with hardened steel lock insert. The blade runs on bearings and opens via a flipper tab. The lanyard hole is integrated within the frame and backspacer for a low key function. The clip is a new process for me where I combined the classic bent clip with the beauty of a 3D milled clip you have become to know on my knives. This new hybrid offers a smooth, strong clip yet with easy deployment in and out of your pocket.
